Services

The following are a list of some of the services that we provide and approximate prices for those services. Some prices obviously are dependent upon the situation and the patient. Prices are MX Pesos.
Composites (fillings)

Description: Instead of using metals or silver-mercury alloys, we use a composite matrix with a nonmetric ceramic filling. This results in a material that has the strength and aesthetic appearance similar to natural teeth. Also, the material is biologically neutral and compatible with the natural tooth structure.
Cost: $1,400- $1600 MX pesos per unit. Standard size cavity.
Typical Duration: 1 day if no more than 3 or 4 standard fillings

  • NOTE:
·Water coolant is used to avoid vaporization of the mercury.
·Special amalgam “Cold Burs” are used to avoid high temperatures while removing the amalgam. This also avoids the vaporization.
·High pressure ejection effectively eliminates the amalgam residuals and any vapor that could have being created.

Inlays/Onlays

Description: Solid ceramic fillings for big cavities. When a cavity is too large for the maximal safe performance of a composite, it is necessary to use a stronger material for the filling. This filling is created by a CAD/CAM robotic and software system which is able to achieve an excellent aesthetic and seal on the existing tooth structure.
Cost: $8,600 MX pesos
Typical Duration: 4-6 days. More than two onlays would require more time. *Subject to Schedule availability.

Crowns: Porcelain Fused to Metal

Crowns: Zirconia Cad-CAM

Description:
Ideal for posterior and some anterior teeth, and the best material for bridges due to its extraordinary strength and resistance. Crowns with Zirconia internal structure and a e-max covering. Zirconia is the strongest nonmetallic structure for crowns and bridges. It is strong as steel. A crown made of Zirconia will avoid the use of metals and provide a natural-looking tooth with exceptional strength. The Zirconia structure is created by a CAD/CAM robotic and software system, which allows us to achieve a perfect fit and seal on the tooth core.
Cost: $9,200 MX pesos per unit. (includes a temporary crown and any required X-rays)
Typical Duration: 5-6 days, divided in two or more visits depending on the number of crowns. If many crowns are needed, the time elapsed can be considerable. *Subject to schedule availability.

Performed in E-max CAD-CAM are strong and natural looking with a remarkable translucency.
Cost: $9,200 MX pesos per unit (includes a temporary crown and any required X-rays)
Typical Duration: 3-8 days divided in two or more visits depending on the number of veneers.*Subject to schedule availability.

Bridges: Porcelain Fused to Metal (fixed)

Description: Fixed bridges. These appliances are fixed prostheses made of a metallic internal structure, with porcelain coverings to cover short edentulous areas (areas without teeth). The two parts of a bridge are the “pillars” and the “pontics”. The pillars are the existing teeth to which the bridge is fixed. The pontics are the “fake teeth” that cover the edentulous area. NOTE: One bridge can consist of three or more pontics, depending on the extension of the edentulous area and the retention and support requirements of the pillars. Each pillar and pontic is considered one unit each. In some circumstances, osteintegrated titanium implants can be substituted for fixed bridges, avoiding the need for pillar preparation and crowning.
Cost: $8,900 MX pesos per unit.
Typical Duration: 5-8 days divided in two or more visits depending on the number of units. *Subject to schedule availability.

Bridges: Full Zirconia (Fixed)

Description: Non-metallic fixed bridges with full Zirconia structure. Zirconia is the strongest nonmetallic structure for crowns and bridges; it is strong as steel. Using Zirconia avoids the use of metals and provides natural-looking and exceptionally strong bridges. The Zirconia structure is created by a CAD/CAM robotic and software system, which allows us to achieve a perfect fit and seal on the tooth core.
Cost: $9,2000 MX pesos per unit. Units are the pillars and pontics of lost teeth. One bridge can consist of three or more units depending on the extension on the edentulous area and the requirments of retention and support from the pillars.
Typical Duration: 6-14 days divided in two or more visits depending on the number of units.

Root Canal

Cost: $4,000 – 4,500 MX pesos per tooth. (Depends on the number of internal canals)
Typical Duration: 2 hours if tooth is not infected. It can be up to 6 days divided into two appointments if there is an active infection. If the tooth is infected, medication has to be applied “in situ” (inside each canal) to exterminate bacterial activity. This is the time it takes to obtain an adequate sterile environment. Oral or IM Antibiotics help a lot in this situation but cannot get inside the canal. Therefore, the internal canal medication is mandatory.*Time frame is also subject to schedule availability.

Post and Buildup core

Description: Almost every tooth that requires a root canal also requires a post and buildup core to retain the crown. Posts are carbon fiber or preformed fiberglass, and core build ups are made from composite cores.
Cost: $2,400 MX pesos each. (For every additional fiberglass or carbon fiber post if required in the same tooth or if larger composite core is required, an additional charge of $20 USD each).

Many times, the bone graft is needed to prepare the existing bone for the osteointegrated implant a few months later.
Cost: $5,000 – 9,000 MX pesos depending on the amount of bone and collagen membrane required.
Typical Duration: 1.5 hr. *Subject to schedule availability.
