Come Fix Your Teeth and Enjoy Yucatan

Yucatan offers a wonderful variety of options for traveling and sightseeing while getting your teeth fixed. The usual way this is done is to have some dental work done at the office and then, enjoying a few days while the lab manufactures the prosthesis. In the meantime we can help you find wonderful tours to all the different and magical places in the Yucatan.

One of those places, of course, is the world famous Chichen Itza archaeological site, an ancient city that is now one of the modern wonders of the world. Another great place to visit is the majestic Puuc area that showcases different Mayan styles
of ancient ruins in the various buildings which track the rise and fall of the Mayan Civilization.

If you enjoy the natural world, you can take a tour to meet thousands of beautiful pink flamingos in the salty wetlands of the Yucatan Gulf Coast while enjoying a
great seafood meal at the fishing village called Celestun. After lunch, swim in the warm waters of the Gulf, or maybe just rest and enjoy the white sands with the soft and relaxing sound of the waves and the fresh smell of the sea.

Puerto Progreso, just thirty minutes from Merida, also offers great services and a great variety of seafood, all at a beautiful white and sandy beach. You can walk along the malecon, the street that parallels the beach, feeling the breeze in your hair and the sun warming your skin, as all your cares drift away.

Tours to Colonial Haciendas on the Yucatan Peninsula will demonstrate the history and importance of henequen in the economic development of Yucatan in the past two centuries and the opulent architectural memories that are left behind. Also there are many haciendas that have been turned into restaurants and hotels for the public to enjoy.

Find a colorful side of Yucatan in the colonial city of Izamal, one of the most historic
places of Yucatan. While you are there, you can have an authentic Mayan and colonial meal, and soak up the ancient atmosphere of a colonial convent, one of the oldest in the Americas.

Learn about the destruction of the Mayan writings and the attempt to recover them while visiting another colonial city, Muna, with its delicious restaurant and renovated church.

Staying in Merida, you can visit museums that chronicle the large and rich history of the preColumbian Mayans, and the highlights and details of the conquer and conquest of this part of Mexico.

But if you only want to rest and enjoy the Merida way of life, known for its tranquility, you have plenty of different choices of restaurants and bars in the very safe and beautiful Historical Center. Listen to the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra in the beautifull Italianate theatre, the Jose Peon Contreras. Watch dancers perform Folkloric dances at Santiago park every thursday night or enjoy a salsa night or a Cuban one, or just listen to the trovadores sing the love songs Yucatecos are famous for.

Walk along the Paseo de Montejo, the most beautiful and historic boulevard in the city.
